K-Rock With Scott Stapp
God's Pottery recently had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time in the 92.3 K-ROCK studio with Scott Stapp--the one and only former lead singer of Creed! GP has always been a big fan of Scott and Creed, not just for their radio-friendly rock anthems, but for his commitment to Christ.

Scott wasn't sure what to make of us at first (he threatened at one point to punch us in the face!). But once we showed him some of our people-skills and biblical know-how, we were able to join in socially-positive musical and spiritual fellowship. Please enjoy the clips below of our time with the great Scott Stapp.

The Pants Come Off When The Ring Goes On (8.3mb)
Before Scott came in to "hang out," Booker (the DJ) and his gang had us come in, talk about our music and message, and play our ode to premarital abstinence, "The Pants Come Off When The Ring Goes On." This clip includes both the song and our banter before and after.

Here is just the song.

Jesus I Need A Drink (8.9mb)
Later, after Scott had spent some time discussing everything from his new album to his girlfriend to his new album, Booker asked us to come back in and "hang" with the "crew." We talked a bit about faith with Scott (and told him about the great Reverend Wesley Treecrotch up in Harlem!) and then performed our anti-drinking/pro-Eucharist anthem "Jesus I Need A Drink." Scott chimed in with some impromptu commentary while we played! This clip includes the song and banter.

Jesus I Need A Drink (3.4mb)
And here is just the song (and Scott's running commentary).

Listener Feedback (656kb)
Finally, the listeners out there had some thoughts upon hearing GP for the first time. Check it out!
